hey everyone in this video im painting abaddon the despoiler to a tabletop ready standard using the classic box art scheme with citadel paints were going for that iconic black armour rich gold trim and all the key details that make this chaos warlord stand out lets get into it

i started by priming the model with chaos black since were doing a lot of dark armour and metallics this gives us a solid foundation and saves some work later on

for the black armour I actually leave the primer exposed and just clean it up where needed then i base the trim with retributor armour this can be a bit of a time sink but it really pops once its shaded
